Espionage operation by MIT: 6 out of 7 agents transferring information to China captured
The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Istanbul Regional Directorate has captured 6 out of 7 individuals who were transferring information and documents they collected to intelligence elements of the People's Republic of China.

In the efforts conducted by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Istanbul Regional Directorate against espionage activities, it was determined that there were 7 individuals who held meetings with intelligence elements of the People's Republic of China, compiled information about prominent figures of Turkestan-origin individuals living in Turkey and East Turkestan associations/organizations operating in Turkey, and transferred the information and documents they collected to intelligence elements of the People's Republic of China.
6 CAPTURED
Within this scope, a simultaneous operation was carried out this morning at addresses in Istanbul to capture the 7 identified individuals.
In the operations, 6 of the 7 people understood to be acting as agents were captured.
