The National Security Council (MGK) will meet today at the Palace under the chairmanship of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu and Land Forces Commander General Metin Tokel will attend the MGK meeting for the first time in their new roles.
The most critical topic of the meeting will be Gaza. In addition, the regional effects of the war between Ukraine and Russia and initiatives aimed at ending the conflicts will also be discussed.
The MGK is also expected to address the progress made within the scope of the new initiative called a "Terror-Free Turkey" and developments regarding the laying down of arms by organizations.
