Odor emanating from apartment reveals painful truth
In an incident that came to light following complaints from apartment residents in Samsun about a foul odor, it was determined that Adil Abdul Maher Muhsin, a 60-year-old Iraqi national living alone on the ground floor, had passed away approximately 2 months ago. It was reported that only bones remained of the elderly man.
The incident occurred in the Rasathane neighborhood of the İlkadım district. According to the information obtained, apartment residents, disturbed by a foul odor that had persisted for about a month, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police teams were dispatched to the scene. Entering the apartment of 60-year-old Iraqi national Adil Abdul Maher Muhsin, who was known to live alone on the ground floor, the teams assessed that the individual had passed away approximately 1.5 to 2 months ago.

Initial examinations revealed that only bones remained of the elderly man. The body was sent to the Samsun Forensic Medicine Institute Group Presidency for an autopsy.
The investigation is ongoing.
