Operations against 4 separate organized crime groups in 4 provinces!

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that four separate organized crime groups were dismantled in large-scale operations carried out in Istanbul, Ankara, Adana, and Van.

It was reported that a total of 79 suspects, including criminal organization leaders A.A., A.S., and O.Y., were apprehended in the operations.

The operations, conducted under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and the General Directorate of Security's Department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM), were carried out by the Provincial Police Departments' Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branches. It was stated that the apprehended suspects are under investigation for numerous crimes, including "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, qualified robbery, facilitating illegal gambling, drug trafficking, and arms and ammunition smuggling."

WEAPONS AND DRUGS SEIZED

During the searches conducted as part of the operations, 7 unlicensed pistols, 3 unlicensed rifles, 1 automatic pistol, 2 hand grenades, and various amounts of narcotics were seized.
