ORC shares latest data: Striking results from Istanbul and Ankara polls ahead of YENİ Party

ORC Research Education Consultancy conducted separate public opinion polls in Istanbul and Ankara between July 17-20, 2026.

In the surveys, which included 1,650 participants in Istanbul and 1,180 in Ankara, voters were asked, "If a general election were held this Sunday, which political party would you vote for?"

AKP LEADS IN ISTANBUL

According to the survey results, the AKP ranked first in Istanbul with 34.1 percent of the vote.

The CHP followed in second place with 32.7 percent, with a 1.4-point gap between the two parties standing out.

According to the research, the vote shares of the parties in Istanbul were as follows:

AKP: 34.1%

CHP: 32.7%

DEM Party: 8.1%

MHP: 5.9%

Zafer Party: 4.4%

İYİ Party: 4.2%

Yeniden Refah Party: 2.7%

Büyük Birlik Party: 2.1%

TİP (Workers' Party of Turkey): 1.5%

Saadet Party: 1.2%

Other: 3.1%

The results in Ankara are as follows:

AKP: 34.3%

CHP: 31.1%

MHP: 7.2%

İYİ Party: 5.5%

Zafer Party: 3.9%

Büyük Birlik Party: 3.5%

DEM Party: 3.1%

Yeniden Refah Party: 2.4%

Saadet Party: 1.8%

TİP (Workers' Party of Turkey): 1.4%

Other: 5.8%
