Özgür Özel issues 'CHP' directive to MPs

YENİ Party leader Özgür Özel held a meeting with founding members of parliament at his party's headquarters. The discussion covered preparations for the party congress, field operations planned for September, and the political policies the party will pursue in the coming period.

The meeting's agenda also included the status of MPs facing parliamentary immunity dossiers and allegations of potential operations against the party leadership.

ÖZEL RESPONDS TO ALLEGATIONS OF OPERATIONS

During the meeting, Özgür Özel was also asked about allegations of operations against the party leadership. It was stated that Özel responded to these questions by saying, "I do not even find it appropriate to discuss this."

It was reported that Özel asked the MPs to focus on party work instead of engaging in debates over these allegations.

According to a report by Cumhuriyet, Özel also warned MPs regarding potential disputes with the CHP, stating, "Do not engage with the CHP. Look ahead. Do not create an artificial agenda with them."

YENİ PARTY TO CONDUCT OPERATIONS IN 81 PROVINCES

It was learned that during the meeting, where evaluations regarding the party's goal of coming to power were also made, Özel said, "If I cannot make the party the government in the first elections, I will immediately convene the party congress. I will not make up excuses, saying 'this happened, that happened'."

Özel stated that they must be prepared for a possible snap election and gave instructions to the MPs for field operations.

In this context, it is planned for the first group of MPs to conduct work in 81 provinces between September 10-20, and the second group between September 20-30.

PARTY POLICIES TO BE EXPLAINED DURING OPERATIONS

During the field operations, the YENİ Party's reasons for establishment, proposed solutions to the problems on Turkey's agenda, and its economic program, as well as its views on the new solution process, will be conveyed.

The reports to be prepared following the MPs' work in the field will be used in the party's future political discourse.
