Pedestrian underpass at Fatih Metro station flooded
Citizens using the metro station underpass in Fatih faced difficult moments after it was flooded with sewage water.
In Istanbul's Fatih district, the pedestrian underpass at the Topkapı - Ulubatlı Metro station was flooded after a sink drain burst. Due to the resulting pool of water, citizens were forced to walk through the water.

The pedestrian underpass at the Topkapı - Ulubatlı stop of the M1B Yenikapı - Kirazlı Metro line in Fatih, Istanbul, was flooded. A pool of water formed in the underpass due to water overflowing from burst sinks. While Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) teams initiated water drainage work in the pedestrian underpass, it was observed that citizens using the underpass had difficulty walking due to the accumulation of water.

A citizen who stated that they could not cross to the other side due to the water accumulation said, "I was going to cross to the other side, but I couldn't. I wish some measures were taken here so we could cross. There is no traffic right now, and vehicles are passing by quickly."

The water in the underpass was drained through the efforts of the teams.
