Reactions continue against the flag provocation in Nusaybin
Following the DEM Party's group meeting, a group attempted to cross the wire fences in the incidents that occurred in Nusaybin, and individuals coming from the Syrian side lowered the Turkish flag. Giant Turkish flags were hung in Üsküdar, Istanbul, in response to the provocation.
Following the DEM Party's group meeting in Nusaybin, chaos ensued. A group attempted to cross the border by tearing down wire fences. Police intervened with water cannon vehicles (TOMA).
Another group coming from the Syrian side lowered the Turkish flag at the border gate. The events caused widespread outrage across the country.
