The era of stamps for international departure fees is coming to an end
Ağrı Provincial Treasurer Mustafa Yılmaz Şimşek announced that the period of paying international departure fees with stamps will end as of January 1, 2025.
Ağrı Provincial Treasurer Mustafa Yılmaz Şimşek stated in his announcement that international departure fee payments can now be made through digital platforms and other easily accessible methods.
Şimşek said, "Our valued citizens will now be able to easily pay their international departure fees through the Digital Tax Office, GİB Mobile, contracted banks, tax offices, and counters at airports.
You can save time by making fast and secure payments via the Digital Tax Office or the GİB Mobile application," he said.
Şimşek emphasized that international departure fee payments are shared with the General Directorate of Security through the system and that citizens are not required to present any documents during departure.
Stating that "We continue to develop innovative solutions as GİB Technology so that our taxpayers can fulfill their obligations more easily," Şimşek noted that citizens' transactions are carried out faster and more securely through digitalization efforts.
