It was learned that the investigation leading to the home searches of the three police chiefs was conducted regarding the crimes of "agreement to commit a crime" under Article 316 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK) titled "rebellion against the Government of the Republic of Turkey," "disclosure of information related to duty" under TCK Article 258, "attempt to influence a judicial officer, expert witness, or witness" under TCK Article 277, "harboring a criminal" under TCK Article 283, and "violation of confidentiality" under TCK Article 285.

It was stated that the prosecutor's office has issued a restriction order on the case file.
