Following the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred off the coast of Silivri, Istanbul, some citizens who did not want to spend the night in their homes chose to sleep in the streets and mosques. Many people took shelter in mosques with their blankets and tried to get through the night by setting up tents in parks.

Following the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred off the coast of Silivri in Istanbul, some citizens who did not want to return to their homes spent the night outside. In various parks in Fatih, some citizens stayed in tents they had set up, while others chose to sleep on mattresses they laid on the ground.

Some citizens were also seen sleeping inside their cars. In Yenibosna, Bahçelievler, some citizens spent the night trying to stay warm by gathering around fires they lit in the street.
