Visa process becomes more difficult: Over 50,000 students are facing grievances

Recently, the difficulties faced by Turkish citizens in the Schengen visa application process have reached a serious level. Students, academics, business people, and those planning tourist trips are experiencing significant grievances due to rising rejection rates and delayed appointment processes. The group most affected by this situation is students.

Some students, who waited months for a response or had their applications rejected, have lost their scholarship rights as a result. It is stated that the number of students suffering due to visa obstacles has exceeded 50,000.

According to a report on NTV, the most significant difficulties are being experienced with applications for Germany and Italy.

CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED

A total of 23,000 students planning to study in these two countries have faced various difficulties during the visa application process. In order to address the grievances experienced by the students, the Association of Overseas Education Consultants has launched a campaign demanding that priority be given to students.
