Woman's body found in the sea in Yalova
A woman's body found in the sea off the ferry terminal in Yalova city center has been recovered by teams. An autopsy has been initiated for the woman, who is estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old and whose identity has not yet been determined.
Citizens who spotted an unresponsive person on the sea surface near the IDO Ferry Terminal in Yalova city center quickly reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, teams from the Yalova Police Department's Sea Port Branch were dispatched to the area.
Upon arriving at the scene, the teams recovered the woman's body from the sea but did not find any identification on her. After the crime scene investigation, the body was taken to the Yalova Training and Research Hospital morgue for identification and to determine the cause of death.
Authorities stated that efforts to identify the woman, who is estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old, are ongoing, and an investigation into the incident continues.
