Along with the elected Chairman of the CHP, Özgür Özel, 91 deputies resigned from the CHP. While Özel signed the establishment documents for the YENİ Party, the 91 deputies also took part in the party's founding board.

ÖZEL BECAME THE CHAIRMAN OF THE YENİ PARTY

Making a statement after signing the establishment documents, Özgür Özel used the phrases, "May it be auspicious for our country, our nation, our party, and all of us." It was reported that the party's establishment petition was submitted to the Ministry of Interior around noon. In the process that followed, Özel was elected Chairman of the YENİ Party.

CONGRATULATORY CALL FROM BAHÇELİ

The first political leader to call Özgür Özel after he was elected Chairman of the YENİ Party was MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli. It was conveyed that during the phone call, Bahçeli congratulated Özel and wished him success in his new role.
