Bad news for vehicle owners: New diesel price hike on the way
Expectations of a new increase in fuel prices have emerged. According to industry sources, a price hike of 1 lira and 31 kuruş per liter of diesel is expected to take effect as of midnight on Monday.
As volatility in fuel prices continues, expectations for a new price increase in the diesel group have emerged. It has been reported that a hike in the liter price of diesel is expected due to fluctuations in Brent crude oil prices, changes in exchange rates, and movements in refinery costs.
HIKE EXPECTED AS OF MONDAY MIDNIGHT
According to information shared by fuel market expert Cahit Saraçoğlu, a price hike of 1 lira and 31 kuruş per liter of diesel is expected to take effect as of midnight on Monday.
If the aforementioned increase is reflected in pump prices, diesel prices in major cities will rise once again.
EXPECTED DIESEL PRICES BY PROVINCE
Following the expected 1.31 lira hike, the liter price of diesel is expected to reach approximately 65.92 TL on the European side of Istanbul and 65.74 TL on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.
In Ankara, the liter price of diesel is projected to rise to 66.99 TL, and in Izmir to 67.27 TL.
