The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has issued a statement following conflicting information circulating in the public regarding the number of investors in funds slated for liquidation. The Board reported that, according to Central Securities Depository (MKK) records, there are 455,758 unique investors in the funds in question.

LIQUIDATION DECISION FOR 131 FUNDS

In accordance with the decisions of the CMB Board dated September 17, 2026, it was decided to liquidate a total of 131 funds belonging to 7 portfolio management companies.

The Board noted that different figures regarding the number of investors in the liquidated funds have appeared in the public domain in recent days. However, according to MKK records, there are 455,758 unique investors in these funds.
