CMB blocks access to 23 websites, approves IPOs for 4 companies

The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has initiated the process to block access to 23 websites identified as operating without authorization, while granting approval for the initial public offerings (IPOs) of 4 companies. The Board also decided to file criminal complaints against certain individuals and websites, and to impose an administrative fine on one company.

CMB blocks access to 23 websites, approves IPOs for 4 companies

The Capital Markets Board (CMB) announced its latest decisions regarding websites identified as operating without authorization, administrative fines, and criminal complaints in its weekly bulletin.

The Board decided to initiate legal proceedings to block access to 12 websites identified as providing unauthorized crypto asset services to residents in Turkey. Additionally, the access-blocking process will be implemented for 11 websites determined to be operating in capital markets without authorization.

According to the information in the bulletin, as a result of examinations conducted under the Capital Markets Law and relevant legislation, criminal complaints were filed against the content providers of 5 websites and 4 individuals.

Following an investigation into Zeray Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı AŞ, the CMB also decided to impose an administrative fine of 445 thousand 243 liras on the company.

IPO AND ISSUANCE APPLICATIONS

The Board also announced its decisions regarding capital market applications in its weekly bulletin. The IPOs of Çitlekçi Mağazacılık Gıda AŞ at 73.70 liras, Teknika Plast Teknik Kalıp Plastik Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ at 85.40 liras, Türker Vangölü Enerji Yatırım AŞ at 136 liras, and Kapeks Kimya Sanayi AŞ at 94 liras were found to be appropriate.

The bonus share capital increase applications of Derlüks Yatırım Holding AŞ, Dinamik Isı Makina Yalıtım Malzemeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, and Vişne Madencilik Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ were also approved.

The CMB further authorized the debt instrument issuance applications of Brisa, Garanti BBVA Operasyonel Kiralama, Quick Finansman, Hepsi Finansman, Arsan Finans Faktoring, Strateji Holding, Korteks Mensucat, Ak Yatırım, Oyak Yatırım, and Yapı Kredi Yatırım. Lease certificate and asset-backed security applications by BNP Paribas Issuance B.V, DK Varlık Kiralama AŞ, and Pasha Yatırım Bankası AŞ Maygold Varlık Finansmanı Fonu were also approved by the Board.
