Diesel price hike, signs changed: Fuel prices reach record levels

Fuel prices have changed once again. Following the announcement of inflation on July 3, an SCT (Special Consumption Tax) hike was applied to fuel prices. Volatility in Brent crude oil and foreign exchange rates also affected fuel prices.

Last week, the price of a liter of diesel was increased by 1 lira and 16 kurus. Thus, the signs at fuel stations have changed once again.

Here are the fuel prices in Istanbul, Izmir, and Ankara as of July 12, 2025, following the price hike:

Istanbul European side

Gasoline price per liter: 51.22 TL

Diesel price per liter: 53.56 TL

LPG price per liter: 26.06 TL

Istanbul Anatolian side

Gasoline price per liter: 51.08 TL

Diesel price per liter: 53.45 TL

LPG price per liter: 25.46 TL

Ankara

Gasoline price per liter: 51.91 TL
