Minister announces: Payments have started to be deposited into accounts
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that a total of 6 billion liras has been deposited into accounts this month as part of home care assistance.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, in her statement, recalled that home care assistance was launched in 2006 to support disabled individuals in living with their families. This assistance model aims to strengthen family unity by encouraging disabled individuals to live with their relatives without being separated from their family environment.
Minister Göktaş stated that thanks to home care assistance, citizens who take on the care of their fully dependent relatives in need of care are supported. In this context, she stated that a monthly payment of 11 thousand 702 liras is made to eligible recipients.
Göktaş said, "We have started depositing a total of 6 billion liras in home care assistance into accounts this month for fully dependent citizens cared for in their homes and their families. I wish the payments to be beneficial to all our disabled citizens and their families."
