Privatizations continue where they left off... Approval granted for notable real estate sales

With decisions approved by the Presidency and published in the Official Gazette, some significant properties in the portfolio of the Privatization Administration (ÖİB) will change hands. According to the sales decision, bids totaling billions of liras have been accepted for real estate in Ankara and Istanbul.

The highest bid for a property registered to the Treasury in the Kavaklıdere neighborhood of Ankara's Çankaya district was 155 million liras. This bid was submitted by Carpartner Yardım ve Destek Hizmetleri Otomotiv Nakliyat Taahhüt Ticaret Ltd. Şti., and the sale has been approved.

Another sale in Ankara covers properties in the Abidinpaşa-İmar neighborhood of the Mamak district. In the tender for the privatization of these areas as a single parcel, the highest bid of 118 million 800 thousand liras came from Arslanlar İnşaat Mimarlık ve Mühendislik Ltd. Şti. Authorization has been granted to this company to begin the sales procedures.

In the process of privatizing properties belonging to the Privatization Administration in the Kemerburgaz village of Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district as a whole, Ceynak Lojistik ve Ticaret AŞ became the winner of the tender with a bid of 1 billion 210 million liras, and the sale decision has been approved.

However, if the companies refrain from signing the contracts in question or fail to fulfill their obligations, the deposited guarantees will be recorded as revenue in favor of the public, and the tenders will be canceled. On the other hand, in the Kemerburgaz sale, if the primary buyer company fails to fulfill its obligations, the properties will be offered to Sarılar İnşaat ve Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, which submitted a bid of 1 billion 205 million liras. If this company is also in a similar situation, the tender will be declared invalid in the same manner.

In line with the decisions published in the Official Gazette, the process for the transfer of significant public properties has begun. With these decisions, the relevant companies will be obligated to fulfill their contract and payment requirements.
