Record for 'international flights' at Antalya Airport

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, in a statement on his social media account, announced that a record was broken in the number of passengers arriving at Antalya Airport yesterday, noting the following:

"With the number of tourists arriving in our Antalya, the perfect meeting point of history, nature, and culture, exceeding 104 thousand yesterday, we have broken the all-time daily international passenger record. In Antalya, which is a favorite among tourists not only for its magnificent beaches but also for its rich history, fascinating natural beauties, and unique cultural heritage, we hosted approximately 280 thousand tourists in the first 3 days of August. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this magnificent success, which shows a 10 percent increase compared to the same period last year."
