The Social Security Institution (SGK) has announced that it has signed protocols with 19 banks, including private banks, for retiree promotion payments ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 Turkish Liras.

According to the statement on the SGK's website, it was noted that monthly payments to retirees are made through banks, and that promotion payments for citizens receiving a retirement pension have been increased by approximately two-fold, set between 8,000 and 12,000 Turkish Liras.

In this context, it was stated that beneficiaries receiving death benefits will also be paid a promotion of 5,000 Turkish Liras, and it was emphasized that retirees and beneficiaries must apply to the banks in order for the promotions to be paid by the banks.

The statement included the expression, "The determined amounts are at the minimum level, and banks may increase the promotion amounts in line with their own practices."

The banks with which the protocol was signed are as follows:
