Borsa İstanbul has announced the new practice regarding the order/trade ratio following the expiration of temporary measures applied in the equity market. Accordingly, the ratio will be applied as 5/1 again starting from June 29, 2026.
In the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that the measures in effect by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) between March 2 and June 26, 2026, have ended.
With the expiration of the measures applied by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) between March 2 and June 26, 2026, it has been decided that the order/trade ratio in the Equity Market will be applied as 5/1 again starting from June 29, 2026.
The SPK had decided to ban short-selling transactions in equity markets on March 2. With the lifting of the short-selling ban, the temporary measures in the equity market have also been removed.
