Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 4.16 percent on a weekly basis, while the dollar/TL rose by 0.04 percent, the euro/TL by 0.76 percent, and the gram price of gold by 1.76 percent.
The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 10,036.41 and a high of 10,652.28 points, completed the week at 10,643.58 points, gaining 4.16 percent compared to the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 1.76 percent this week to 2,491 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold rose by 1.15 percent to 16,302 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 4,044 liras last weekend, rose to 4,090 liras.
This week, the US dollar gained 0.04 percent to reach 32.2300 liras, and the euro rose by 0.76 percent to 35.0060 liras.
Investment funds gained 0.67 percent and individual pension funds gained 0.99 percent this week.
When viewed by category, the top-performing investment funds were "Precious Metals" funds with a gain of 2.24 percent.
