ÖSYM announces branch-based rankings for KPSS candidates!

The Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) Presidency has announced that the branch-based rankings for candidates who participated in the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) undergraduate sessions have been released based on the new exam results.

In a written statement from ÖSYM, it was stated that the branch-based rankings of candidates who participated in the 2024-KPSS Undergraduate sessions have been reflected in the ÖSYM Candidate Transactions System, and it was noted: "Candidates will be able to learn their branch-based rankings from ÖSYM's https://ais.osym.gov.tr address using their Turkish ID number and candidate password. Branch-based rankings are a service created to inform candidates, allowing them to evaluate their own success status among other candidates who took the exam in the same field. The displayed page does not constitute an official document. In all evaluations, the information registered in the ÖSYM system is taken as the basis. Branch-based ranking processes have been prepared based on the education information of candidates that is actively present in the ÖSYM system as of the date the relevant transactions were performed (pulled via the YÖKSİS system), and for candidates whose education information does not appear active in the system as of this date, the education information they specified during their application is used."

The statement, which noted that KPSS P10, P120, and P121 score types are used in teacher recruitment conducted by the Ministry of National Education (MEB), included the following: "The rankings of those to be appointed to teaching positions by the MEB are determined by checking the higher education programs they graduated from, their graduation years, and their priorities according to the decisions of the Board of Education and Discipline, and by taking the candidates' field-based applications as the basis. For this reason, teacher candidates need to take this situation into account when checking their branch-based ranking information."
