Bad news for Erdoğan! Large lead for İmamoğlu
According to the latest poll results, imprisoned Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has gained a significant advantage over Erdoğan in the presidential elections.
The latest poll conducted by Ulusal Araştırma shows that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has increased his public support despite being imprisoned at the Marmara Prison in Silivri.
While support for İmamoğlu has been rising since March 19, 64 percent of voters find his imprisonment to be wrong.
According to the poll, in the 1st Round Voting Trend for the Presidential Election, İmamoğlu is in the lead with 38 percent of the vote. With the distribution of undecided voters' votes, İmamoğlu reached 46.8 percent, leading Erdoğan by 11.8 percentage points. Erdoğan's vote share remained at 35 percent.
