AKOM announces: Istanbul residents will miss the sun
Those expecting sunshine in Istanbul in the new week will be disappointed. While temperatures across the city will hover between 12 and 16 degrees, rain clouds will be effective throughout the entire week.
Heavy rainfall and cloudy weather are expected in Istanbul next week. It is estimated that air temperatures in the city will remain stable between 12 and 16 degrees, and it is stated that the sun will struggle to show its face.
According to the latest report published by the Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), the rainfall is expected to continue uninterrupted throughout the week. Meteorological experts advise citizens to check the weather forecast before going out and to carry umbrellas with them.
The daily weather forecast announced by AKOM is as follows: On Monday, March 30, strong downpours are expected to be effective along with very cloudy weather. On the following day, Tuesday, March 31, another very cloudy and locally rainy day is predicted. While intermittent rains will continue on Wednesday, April 1, downpours will continue to be effective across the city on Thursday, April 2. Friday, April 3, will see intermittent rainfall, and downpours are expected again on Saturday, April 4, over the weekend.
