The weather will change suddenly: Downpours and strong winds are coming

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northeastern parts of our country are expected to be partly to, at times, very cloudy, with local downpours and thunderstorms in the coastal parts of the Eastern Black Sea, the south of Iğdır, and the eastern surroundings of Ağrı, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.

Temperatures are expected to be 3-5 degrees above seasonal norms in the western and southern parts of the country, 1-3 degrees above in the interior, and around seasonal norms in the eastern parts.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south on the Mediterranean coast, light to occasionally moderate, and over time, it is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in Eastern Anatolia and the north of Southeastern Anatolia.
