Weather in Istanbul to change suddenly! AKOM announces date
AKOM has reported that the cool and rainy weather in Istanbul will lose its effect starting from noon, and temperatures will rise to the 28-32 degree range throughout the week.
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) has announced that the cool and rainy weather currently affecting the city is expected to move out of the region starting from noon on Sunday, July 26.
According to AKOM's weather forecast report, temperatures will rise rapidly during the day. The air temperature, measured at 21 degrees in the morning, is expected to rise to 27 degrees by noon, then drop to 25 degrees in the evening and 23 degrees at night.
The report stated that the weather in Istanbul will be mostly clear and sunny throughout the week. Temperatures are expected to hover between 28 and 32 degrees, with the highest values measured in the 30-32 degree range.
It was reported that humidity levels will vary between 40 and 80 percent, and the wind will blow from the southwest (lodos) at a light to occasionally moderate intensity. AKOM announced that no precipitation is expected across the city from Monday, July 27, to Saturday, August 1.
On the other hand, it was stated that light local rainfall of 1 to 3 kilograms per square meter may be seen today.
