Fight over 'you held her hand' during folk dance: 3 injured
In Malatya, 3 people were injured in a fight that broke out at a wedding during a folk dance over a dispute about "holding hands."
The incident occurred around 21:00 at a wedding hall located in the Orduzu neighborhood of the Battalgazi district.
According to allegations, an argument broke out among guests dancing the halay during the wedding over the issue of a woman's hand being held.
The argument escalated quickly and involved a large number of people. In the ensuing brawl, 3 people were injured due to battery.
Upon notification, numerous police, riot police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
The parties were separated by the intervention of police teams, and the injured were taken to hospitals by ambulances. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
