Greenland cast and plot

Originally titled Greenland, the film is a disaster movie about the end of the world...

It is known that a few meteors will strike the Earth. However, these are expected to be small meteors that will cause only minor damage. Many people are waiting for this moment. On the day the meteor is set to strike, everyone wants to sit in front of their televisions and watch the moment live.

One of these families is the Garrity family. Their neighbors go to the Garrity home to watch it on television. However, something unexpected happens. The small meteor, which was thought to fall into the ocean, is much larger than expected, destroying cities in the state of Florida and killing millions of people. Even worse, more meteors are set to hit the Earth, and the world will be destroyed within 48 hours.

As these images are broadcast on the screen, the father of the Garrity family, John, receives a message. He receives instructions to take his wife and child and go to a shelter. From this moment on, the Garrity family sets out to find this shelter and save their lives.

John Garrity is played by Gerard Butler.
