An operation was carried out in İzmir following allegations that the same properties were sold to multiple people and that some residences were not delivered within the promised timeframe, as part of an investigation into housing sales.
Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the teams of the Public Security Branch of the Provincial Police Department under the coordination of the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that a construction firm named A.Ç. had caused a total loss of 155 million lira to 55 people.

FINDINGS IN THE INVESTIGATION
Examinations revealed that the same properties were sold to 14 complainants more than once. For other complainants, it was stated that the promised residences were not completed and delivered on time, and that in some delivered residences, the mortgages on the properties were not lifted despite the full payment of the sale price.
A total of 20 suspects were identified within the scope of the investigation. Company officials M.K.A. and B.A., who were reported to have gone abroad in July, along with sales consultants U.K. and G.K., were detained while entering the country at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport.

While proceedings regarding the 4 detained suspects are ongoing, it was reported that efforts to apprehend the other suspects mentioned in the file are continuing.
