Three people who stated that they worked for the famous fashion designer Gülşah Saraçoğlu alleged that throughout their employment, their insurance was either never registered or was under-reported, and that they did not receive their salaries and overtime pay. The employees also claimed that they suffered various losses of rights when they left their jobs.
'PAID INCOMPLETELY'
According to the report by Evren Abdullaoğlu from Sabah, one of Saraçoğlu's former employees, driver Fırat Bayat, claimed that despite working for approximately five months, he was only registered for one month of insurance. Stating that he received a monthly salary of 90 thousand TL, Bayat alleged that his insurance premiums were paid based on the minimum wage and that his legal rights were calculated based on this amount.
Claiming that his overtime pay was also paid incompletely, Bayat argued that his annual leave and severance rights were not granted to him. Bayat also alleged that he was subjected to insults and psychological pressure during his employment.
'SHE DID NOT PAY MY SEVERANCE'
Another employee, Seyhan Sözer, alleged that she was kept waiting to collect her receivables when she wanted to leave the job, and that she was subsequently sent a formal notice on the grounds that she did not come to work.
Sözer claimed that her severance and notice pay, as well as her overtime pay, were not paid.
'I WORKED WITHOUT INSURANCE'
Hayriye Çimşir, who also worked for Saraçoğlu, claimed that she was employed without insurance for three months in the job she started in July. Stating that she left the job in September, Çimşir alleged that her overtime pay and other legal receivables were not paid to her.
IT IS CLAIMED THAT SIMILAR ALLEGATIONS WILL INCREASE
It was stated that the allegations made by the employees are not limited to these three people, and that other individuals who claim to have experienced similar grievances are preparing to make statements. The employees are demanding the collection of the salaries, overtime pay, and other legal receivables that they claim were not paid.
Within the scope of the employees' allegations, a complaint was filed against Gülşah Saraçoğlu with the SGK. It was stated that Saraçoğlu's fashion house was sealed following the complaint.
