Kızıl Goncalar, sanctioned by RTÜK, hits the top: Becomes the most-watched series in all categories
The first episode of Kızıl Goncalar to air after the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) imposed a program suspension penalty has ranked first in ratings across all categories.
RTÜK had imposed both a fine and a two-episode broadcast suspension on Fox TV due to the subject matter covered in the series Kızıl Goncalar.
Due to the penalty, the third episode could not be broadcast, and the Ministry of Family and Social Services as well as the Istanbul Foundations 1st Regional Directorate had revoked the location permits granted for filming.
The series' set was moved from Fatih to the Beykoz Kundura Factory.
RATING RESULTS ANNOUNCED
The series Kızıl Goncalar, starring Özcan Deniz and Özgü Namal and broadcast on FOX, became the most-watched series in all categories with its new episode aired last night, achieving a 9.64 rating and 24.47 share in the AB target audience, a 9.41 rating and 20.83 share in the ABC1 20+ target audience, and a 6.80 rating and 15.63 share in the total target audience.
WHAT IS THE PLOT OF THE SERIES KIZIL GONCALAR?
The series tells the story of how the paths of Meryem (Özgü Namal), the daughter of a conservative family, and idealist doctor Levent (Özcan Deniz), the son of the famous professor Suavi Alkanlı (Şerif Erol), cross because of their daughters.
