Ox dies in fire on the set of the movie Efsane
A fire broke out on the set in Çorum where the movie Efsane, starring Ahmet Kural and Cengiz Bozkurt, was being filmed. It was learned that an ox involved in the filming died in the fire.
Ahmet Kural, Cengiz Bozkurt, Şinasi Yurtsever, Ayhan Taş and Sadi Celil Cengiz are among the famous names featured in the movie ‘Efsane’, and an ox died in a fire that broke out on its set in Çorum.
“WE ENCOUNTERED A SAD SCENE ON OUR SET”
In a statement made by the film production company, it was said: “Yesterday afternoon, after filming the farm scene for the movie ‘Efsane’ in the Karaköy neighborhood of Kargı district under the supervision of the fire department, we wrapped up our set following the completion of cooling operations and safety confirmation by fire officials. In the late hours of the night, we received sad news. According to the information I obtained from the fire department, the fire that broke out suddenly towards morning was extinguished before it could spread to the surroundings or grow. Upon arriving at the set as soon as we received the news, we encountered a sad scene. The only event that deeply saddened us was losing our ox Zeki, who had a role in our film and whom we all loved dearly, following this unfortunate incident. We cannot find words to describe the sadness, pain, and grief within us.”
