35-year-old Gülhatun D., who made broadcasts showing her cleavage on TikTok to earn money, was taken into custody after becoming a trending topic on social media.

Gülhatun D., who was detained by the Public Security Branch Office's Morality Bureau, was sent to the courthouse after giving her statement.

'I EARNED 7 THOUSAND 500 TL'

Stating that she had been looking for a job for months and could not find one, Gülhatun D. said, "I am sad and regretful that I am on the agenda with such a broadcast. I was laid off about 1 year ago. I was looking for a job. I learned that money could be earned through TikTok. I was making broadcasts; I did not intentionally expose my chest during that broadcast. I was tense and my button popped off.

I only earned 7 thousand 500 liras from my broadcast that day. I was earning between 20-30 thousand liras per month. Now I have frozen my account. My family does not allow me to open it," she stated.

'I WILL NEVER DO THOSE BROADCASTS AGAIN'

Stating that she started the broadcasts to meet her needs, Gülhatun D. said, "My goal was just to earn enough to meet my needs. I will never make such a broadcast again. I am pregnant now and I need a job. I looked for a job for months but could not find one."
