14 kilograms and 700 grams of gold bullion with a market value of 37 million TL were seized in the Derecik district of Hakkari.
In a statement made by the Hakkari Governor's Office, it was stated, "A vehicle stopped on suspicion by the Hakkari Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams at the Ortaklar Road Control Point in the Derecik district was searched. During the search, 9 pieces of gold bullion weighing 14 kilograms and 700 grams, with a market value of 37 million TL, were seized hidden in the engine compartment. Legal proceedings have been initiated against 1 suspect regarding the incident."
