In Malatya, a 2-month and 23-day-old baby lost her life after falling ill while being breastfed by her mother. The incident occurred in the İkizce neighborhood of the Yeşilyurt district.
According to reports, the baby, identified as E.L.C., suddenly fell ill while being breastfed. Upon the family's notification, 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the address.
Checks performed by the medical teams determined that the baby had passed away. The baby's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for examination.
After the procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institute, the baby was handed over to her family and laid to rest in the Karababa Cemetery following a funeral prayer held at the Ali Baba Cemetery.
It was reported that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
