According to information on the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) website, the epicenter of both tremors was determined to be the Aegean Sea.
The earthquakes occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers.
While there is currently no information regarding any loss of life or property due to the earthquakes, citizens in the region have been urged to remain cautious against possible aftershocks.
