Women's Motorcycle Club President seriously injured in accident
The driver of a motorcycle that rear-ended a car in the Orhangazi district of Bursa was seriously injured. It was learned that the injured driver is the President of the Bursa Women's Motorcycle Club.
The accident occurred around 16:45 near the Gedelek neighborhood junction on the Yalova-Bursa Highway.
According to the information received, the motorcycle with license plate 16 DE 216, driven by Bursa Women's Motorcycle Club President Dilek Ergier (42), rear-ended the car with license plate 34 JR 4510, driven by Musa Fidan (44), while traveling from Bursa towards Yalova.
Ergier, who was learned to be the President of the Bursa Women's Motorcycle Club, was thrown from the motorcycle in the accident and was seriously injured. Upon notification, medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured motorcycle driver was taken to Orhangazi State Hospital by ambulance. Dilek Ergier, who received initial treatment there, was transferred to Bursa City Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Gendarmerie and police teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
