Remarkable statement from Şamil Tayyar following Cem Küçük's detention claims: The intended name turned out to be someone else

Sözcü newspaper Ankara Representative Saygı Öztürk's remarks regarding Cem Küçük's program on TGRT turned into a different claim on social media.

Öztürk's statement that "one more person from Cem Küçük's program partners will leave" was reported in some social media posts as "one more of the program partners will be detained."

Following the claim becoming a trending topic, journalist Şamil Tayyar announced on his social media account that he had called Saygı Öztürk. Tayyar stated that the person Öztürk was referring to was former moderator Hasan Basri Akdemir.

According to Tayyar's post, Öztürk said he was referring to Akdemir's departure from his role as moderator. Tayyar noted that he reminded Öztürk that Akdemir had already left the program at the end of the season, and that Öztürk was unaware of this information.

Reacting to the escalation of the debate on social media, Tayyar used the expression, "This was the issue. Empty-headed people with a grudge are just jumping around," in his post.
