In a post on his social media account, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a new ban targeting three major media organizations. Trump stated that CNN, MS NOW, and Politico no longer have access to the White House, explaining that the reason behind this move is their "constant reporting of fake news."
In his post, Trump recalled that the channel MS NOW was previously known as MSNBC, claiming that the channel's name was changed due to a "loss of viewers and credibility." Another prominent accusation involved claims that Politico had received 8 million dollars in subscription fees from the government unlawfully during the term of former U.S. President Joe Biden.
In his statement, Trump emphasized that media organizations "should not resort to fiction and lies" when reporting on him, his administration, and the country. The U.S. President also signaled that similar measures might continue, stating, "Other fake news organizations will join them."
