Three new parties have joined Turkish political life in the last month. The number of active parties in Turkey has now risen to 173.

According to information on the website of the Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 3 more parties have joined Turkish political life in the last month. These parties are: the Karar Party, Bizim Party, and the Birlik ve Yükseliş Party.

KARAR PARTY

It was established on January 20, 2025, under the leadership of Onur Movement leader Yaşar Aydın. It was stated that the party, which set out with the slogan "We are coming to take back what you took from us," aims to bring together people with different thoughts, ideologies, languages, and sects under a single roof.

BIZIM PARTY

The party, established on February 3, 2025, is led by Chairman Ahmet Kedik. Stating that they will "bring social peace to every corner of our homeland," Kedik said, "We will return to the founding philosophy of our Republic, and we will have a Turkey that advances rapidly on the path of contemporary civilization."

Kedik added, "Bizim Party will put an end to discrimination, marginalization, and the exploitation of faith and ethnic origin."

UNITY AND RISE PARTY (BYP)

The party was established on February 12, 2025, and its Chairman is Aydın Ünsal.

Orhan Karacı, a member of the party's Founders' Board and Kocaeli Provincial Representative, stated in a press release to local media that they are the party of the laborers, tradesmen, the oppressed, and the youth. Karacı, who was a parliamentary candidate nominee for the New Welfare Party (YRP) in Kocaeli in the 2023 elections and a municipal council candidate for Körfez Municipality in the 2024 local elections, said, "We are not a continuation of the YRP. But we are close. We are right-wing. We are followers of Necmettin Erbakan. But we are not followers of Fatih Erbakan. We stand with the oppressed."
