The final meeting for the Erasmus+ project “CAPTURING THE KNOW-HOW OF PROFESSIONALS IN CONSTRUCTION USING ONLINE LEARNING,” led by Prof. Dr. Gökhan Arslan from Istanbul Aydın University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Kıvrak from Eskişehir Technical University, is being held at Eskişehir Technical University on November 27-28, 2025.

The project aims to align civil engineering education with Industry 4.0 and present sectoral experiences on a digital platform.

The closing meeting of the project, which is being conducted in collaboration with Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Warsaw University of Technology, and the Polish Association of Construction Managers, is being organized at Eskişehir Technical University.

The final evaluation and closing meeting for the EU-supported Erasmus+ project “CAPTURING THE KNOW-HOW OF PROFESSIONALS IN CONSTRUCTION USING ONLINE LEARNING,” for which Prof. Dr. Gökhan Arslan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Kıvrak are the intellectual creators, is taking place at Eskişehir Technical University on November 27-28, 2025.

Scientists specializing in digitalization in the construction sector from Lithuania, Germany, and Poland are attending the meeting.

The meeting will conclude on Saturday, November 29, following two days of academic work.

Thanks to this project, civil engineering education will become compatible with technologies developing under Industry 4.0.

Recorded sectoral experiences will be combined with academic education to be digitized, and problem-solving-oriented short videos will be prepared, supported by animations.

Attendees of the meeting included project partners: Istanbul Aydın University Head of Civil Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Gökhan Arslan, Project Leader from Eskişehir Technical University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Kıvrak and Education Expert Aydın Akgün, Dr. Ahmet Çıtıpıtıoğlu on behalf of TAV Construction, Dr. Volkan Arslan from Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Kazım Çelik from Çelik Construction, Prof. Dr. Andrzej Minasowicz, Dr. Jacek Zawistowski, and Dr. Pawel Novak from Warsaw University of Technology, Dr. Jerzy Roslon and Dr. Nabi Ibadov from the Polish Association of Construction Managers, and Dr. Airida Tyliene and Dr. Andrius Gulbinas from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.

Following the closing meeting, new projects planned for application next year were also evaluated.
