MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's failure to attend the October 29 ceremonies and reception has led to interpretations of a crisis within the People's Alliance. Bahçeli, who did not attend the reception at the Presidential Palace, had sent a gift to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

While there have been comments of a 'silent protest' regarding Bahçeli's stance on October 29, it has been suggested that this decision was driven by police appointments and the elections in the TRNC. Some sources have cited the 'opening process' as the reason.

Erdoğan had responded implicitly to the claims of a rift in the alliance, stating, "Factions that do not want Turkey to solve its half-century-old issue, especially the FETÖ scoundrels, have accelerated their operations. We will certainly initiate a new era where the prices our nation has paid have not been in vain, and where peace, security, and tranquility prevail beyond our borders."

Now, all eyes have turned to MHP leader Bahçeli. The Türkgün newspaper, which is close to the MHP, reported that Bahçeli will deliver important messages at his group meeting tomorrow at 10:45 AM.
