Manisa Metropolitan Mayor Besim Dutlulu has announced his resignation from the Republican People's Party (CHP). It was reported that Dutlulu will join the New Party at a ceremony to be held tomorrow.
Dutlulu announced his decision on his social media account with the note "A new beginning." Following the announcement, it was stated that preparations were underway for a large-scale program in Manisa that would include municipal management and party organizations.
It was learned that the participation ceremony will take place tomorrow at the Ferdi Zeyrek People's Bazaar Conference Hall.
It was stated that in addition to Dutlulu, the CHP Manisa Provincial Chair, provincial and district organization officials, CHP district mayors, municipal council members, and representatives from the women's and youth branches will also join the ranks of the New Party during the program.
