Former İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener was also among those who did not attend the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by numerous figures, including Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan, Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi) Chairman Mahmut Arıkan, New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) Chairman Fatih Erbakan, Democrat Party Chairman Hüseyin Uysal, former Parliament Speaker Bülent Arınç, and former minister Hüseyin Çelik.
Among those who could not attend or sent messages were UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, former Parliament Speaker Cemil Çiçek, KRG President Nechirvan Barzani, former Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay, and HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu.
On the opposition side, the presence of Özgür Özel and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in the same hall was one of the notable details of the ceremony. It was reported that the two sat at distant points in the protocol and did not greet each other in the hall.
The wedding ceremony was also attended by politicians, members of parliament, journalists, and guests from various circles. The ceremony at the Haliç Congress Center stood out not only as a family gathering but also with the messages reflected in the political agenda.
