Reminding Erdoğan of that promise: DEVA Party submits legislative proposal to 'abolish interviews in the public sector'

DEVA Party Gaziantep MP Ertuğrul Kaya announced that they have submitted a legislative proposal to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) to abolish interviews in the public sector.

Speaking at a press conference in Parliament, Kaya said, "You said, 'We will abolish interviews.' Our youth believed you, their families trusted you. They voted for you. What did you do? You continued with interviews at full speed."

Claiming that injustices occur during interviews, Kaya stated, "To put an end to these injustices and to say 'stop' to the unfair practices experienced in interviews, we submitted our legislative proposal to the Speaker of the TBMM last Friday."

Reminding that they promised to "abolish interviews" when the DEVA Party was founded, Kaya used the expression, "I am addressing Mr. Erdoğan from here: Before the election, you promised our nation that you would 'abolish interviews.' Here is your opportunity to keep your word; if you are sincere in your promise, go ahead and abolish interviews."
