Statement from YRP's Doğan Bekin on resignation rumors: He will hold a press conference at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey

It has been claimed that Doğan Bekin, the Deputy Chairman of the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) responsible for Foreign Affairs and an Istanbul Member of Parliament, has resigned from his positions in the party administration. It was alleged that Bekin had also decided to resign from his parliamentary seat, but was persuaded to abandon this decision.

Following the allegations, Bekin made a statement on his social media account, announcing that he would attend as a speaker at an international program titled "Prevention of Religious and Ethnic Intolerance" to be held in the city of Tomsk in Siberia, which is part of the Russian Federation.

Bekin stated that upon his return from Siberia, he would hold a comprehensive press conference at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) regarding many issues of public interest, primarily the news reports about him.

Bekin's statement did not include a direct confirmation or denial regarding the resignation rumors. All eyes have turned to the meeting Bekin announced he would hold at the Parliament upon his return from abroad.
