Striking commentary on crisis claims in the People's Alliance! 'It's progressing so predictably...'

MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's absence from the October 29 ceremony at Anıtkabir and the reception at the Presidential Palace brought claims of a crisis within the People's Alliance to the agenda.

Public attention has now turned to Bahçeli's parliamentary group meeting today. The newspaper Türkgün, which is close to the MHP, had reported that Bahçeli would make important statements today.

Evaluating the developments in his column, Gazete Korkusuz writer Can Coşkun penned an important commentary on the subject.

"PUBLIC OPINION POLL..."

"We are going through a new act of the disagreements within the People's Alliance, which are being handled under the name of crisis or rift. It is progressing so predictably..." stated Coşkun, noting that the process is unfolding in a familiar way. Following his words, "Again, the claim of tension was slowly heated up. First, the MHP made its silence visible and debatable, and then the AKP did. There were attempts to intervene in this silence with a few 'let's not spoil our mood' style comments, but it was clear that they wanted the public to discuss this a bit more," Coşkun made the following assessment:

"Actually, the 'litmus test' formula for this business is very clear.

1- The disagreement is leaked to the media.

2- The difference of opinion is never denied in the first stage.

3- They observe how the public interprets it and what everyone is saying.

4- A draft for the resolution of the crisis is formed in the background.

5- The People's Alliance continues on its way, stronger than before."

"CONTROLLED CRISIS..."

Stating that he does not expect any unexpected developments in this process, Coşkun emphasized that the power balances within the alliance are known by the administrations of both parties. Coşkun shared his view: "Both party administrations know that the entire alliance structure is built on such balances. Let alone the administration, the party bases are also aware... It seems there is a consensus on the necessity of creating a 'controlled crisis' if needed to 'convince each other' due to an agenda..."

In the remainder of his article, Coşkun recalled the words "We agreed to disagree" spoken by former Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu following his meeting with AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Palace, and concluded his assessment with the following expressions:

"The People's Alliance, on the contrary, never agrees to disagree. That period is just overcome in a controlled manner; at times, it can even lead to bluffs and headlines claiming 'The People's Alliance is over,' but it never breaks."
